Wait, it's not on the coach when you're whole team is routinely coming out lifeless and flat? They've either tuned him out and have a bad attitude/don't want to play or he is incapable of motivating his team. Either way, usually it's a poor reflection on the coach when the whole team plays like dejected losers from the opening horn to the closing buzzer. Not, by ANY stretch of the imagination, suggesting it's ALL on Torts, but it seems ridiculous to say he's not guilty as well.
I agree with you. Torts is a motivator and the team wasn't motivated. But, I think if this was Boston executing the exact same game plan Torts used in this game, the results probably would have been different. The game plan wasn't inherently the problem this game.
I am also HIGHLY critical of Johnny Juggles.
