Thought we outplayed them, especially in the third. Enroth played well and we spent too much time in the box. Haley saw WAY too much "quality" ice time and Richards is awful. Can't understand why Torts puts a guy like Haley on a line with Cally and Stepan when we're down 1 with 6 minutes left; he puts our players in positions to fail, all the time. Anyhow, if Buffalo doesn't score on their only damn shot of the third, we probably tie it up. We deserved to win, even though we didn't play that well. Buffalo is terrible and if we hadn't put ourselves in the box so often, or Richards and Gaborik played like they were worth 1/10th of their salaries, we'd have won.

hahaha. Let's Go Rangers!!!

how to fix the rangers offense in 5 steps

step 1: fire torts

step 2: sign zucc

step 3: free kreider

step 4: put gaborik on the right side

step 5: get rid of or severely limit the toi of the ****** players (stu, gilroy, emi, boyle, hayley)

lines would look like

hags-step-nash
zucc-richie-gabs
kreider-miller-callahan
pyatt-hayley-powe

that is a team that could easily role 4 lines consistently

Another lackluster display from the Rangers. At least Enroth got his 1st win since 2011...sigh

On to the Jets

Knew this was a loss the second every ****ing beat writer mentioned Enroth's record

Huge loss. Just not good enough.

It's amazing how we all saw it coming a mile away instantly. How ****ing predictable is this team? It's really mind-blowing how often they fulfill every stereotype we've labeled them with for the past 5+ years.

I would send him down just for that giveaway towards the end. :shakehead

Yep, brutal.

Also loved when he tried to split two Sabres by skating through Lundqvist's crease. But Sam and Joe would just have you believe that "HE'S FEARLESS!"

I hope no youngins were watching the game, saw that, and heard the reaction and is thinking it's a good idea now. :shakehead When it comes to JT, Sam and Joe ****ing kill me.

That was the most infuriating loss this season, which says a lot, when you consider how many games we've lost in our usual fashion so far.

Beaver and Gaborik were MIA.
How about we actually get a good scoring chance for once? Every goal they score is a happy accident, it seems. No creativity, no precise passing, defensemen (ahem....Michael Del High and Wide...) missing the net on every single shot.
Not one defenseman played above-average hockey tonight. No one. From McDonagh to Gilroy, they were all equally as horrible.
Forwards were that much worse. Of course to fix the forward line up, Tortorella has the wonderful idea of PUTTING MICHEAL ****ING HALEY INTO THE TOP 6!! I don't care if he had 20 hits in the first period alone. He has 3 points in his career. Under no cicumstances, EVER, should he be anywhere except for the 4th line. Terrible coaching there. Just a true WTF moment.
Also, Mr. Clowney, how about you put Hags-Step-Nash back together instead of continuing to show favoritism towards The Beaver? (In b4 "Richards haz 2 goalzz, OMG!)

Now I feel better

I can agree with this except for Richards. I would either put him in the good or leave him off. He had a solid game tonight. Nash was invisible mainly due to penalties.

Yeah, I didn't mean to be critical of Nash, he's not going to be unstoppable every night. The penalties certainly ruined any momentum the Richards line had during the first (where I thought they were very good, now that I think about it).

Datsyuk and the Sedins wouldn't be able to score under Torts.

Eminger and Gilroy to the AHL once Hamrlik gets his conditioning back... Boy, the were brutal tonight...

step 5: get rid of or severely limit the toi of the ****** players (stu, gilroy, emi, boyle, hayley)

Wait, you mean to tell me that putting players like Haley on when you are down with minutes left in the 3rd WON'T do anything good?

I am BAFFLED!

Hagelin - Stepan - Nash
Zuccarello - Richards - Gaborik
Kreider - Miller - Callahan
Powe - Boyle/Halpern - Pyatt/Haley

Fire Torts

there is no reason why we should lose to a team like Buffalo. none.

that doesn't mean we played a good game tonight. they played like they wanted to win easy and it showed. it came back and bit them.

we had guys half @ssing it all over the ice. The king is just average this year. hasn't stolen a game yet.

Haley actually had a bunch of chances in the 3rd. It is still terrible coaching to put him there though. It is essentially hoping to get lucky which is not a valid reason for an action - and it is not like Haley had shown anything earlier in the game either.
