capfriendly has the details, no surprise, 1 year $700k ($100k ahl )
Who is he displacing?I'd love to see Vinni get like 15 games on one of the top two lines and power play time.
Who is he displacing?
I actually liked what I saw of him on the point, but that seems to have been about it to like his game at the NHL level. I thought he earned his way out of camp last year, but again showed that he was not able to play at the level necessary to stay with the big club. And again, there does not seem to be a spot for him. Granted, every player has to earn their way to those top 6 spots.
Sure, I get it. Just not holding my breath for him again. I was pretty disappointed last year after what I thought was a very good camp for him.I don't think he'd be displacing anyone but rather get the opportunity if injuries hit...

He’s just going to do the same thing he’s done in the past. Show up during Preseason then disappear as soon as the season starts.
Pirri can play in the NHL, Vinni hasn't shown that yet. Hopefully he'll be able to make it this year, but the competition is very tough.
Would rather have someone else play the 4th line.
Let's presume you are right on who is going (for this purpose, makes no difference if it's Kreider or Buch). ZBad, Buch, Kakko, Kravstov, Chytil, Howden, Panarin, Lemieux, Andersson, Strome. That is 10 names right there. There is the 4th line center, which is not going to be him. That leaves 1 spot open. I would rather have someone with some more size play the 4th line wing.
There you have it. Barring injury, I think that Lettieri spends the year honing his craft in Hartford.Fast?
For the Rangers?!?!?!?I'd love to see Vinni get like 15 games on one of the top two lines and power play time.

And likely his career too. He could become a mainstay for the Pack. There you have it. Barring injury, I think that Lettieri spends the year honing his craft in Hartford.
Me as well. Just give him those 15 games (as we have nothing to lose) and will finally figure out if he can be numerically productive. If not......Hartford could certainly use him and yes, injuries always happen. Likey this signing. C'mon Vinny, I know you have a good shot, work hard and put the puck in the damned net! I have a special rooting interest here, c'mon Vinny, make your cousin Larry proud.I'd love to see Vinni get like 15 games on one of the top two lines and power play time.
