I hope he adds some finishing to his game. It would nice to see him score more. Between 2011-2012 and 2013 he had a really long goal scoring drought. I forgot how many games it was though.

Edit: Hagelin went 36 games without a goal.

Still room for Stepan...My guess he gets between 3.5-4.25.
I'd guess that Zuc is gone, unless a trade is made (Pyatt, Powe, Boyle or Asham).
After Hags signing, Rangers have about 4.25 left to sign Stepan, Zuc and Falk. That doesnt include Miller or Kristo, who could potentially make the team.

Don't think we'll resign Zucc. I can't see Stepan getting anything under $4.5M which leaves us with $1.6 for Zucc, Falk and Mashinter with Powe and Asham in the minors, or $2.25M with Johnson in the minors as well.

How is Hagelin overpaid in your eyes? I was thinking somewhere in the 2.75-3 per he would get. Guy would have been very close to a 20 goal scorer last year in a full season, playing in Torts system.

Agreed. The price isn't too harmful, and I'm glad we got him locked up without arbitration.

I could easily see Stepan getting a 2 year bridge deal for $3.5-4M annually.
