Garand and Edstrom with barard, Fortescue and chmelar followingI'm likely going to skip right to #3 after this poll (like @Savant said I could probably easily go to #5 but we'll do them anyway for discussions).
Everyone can nominate 2 players for the next add.
@nyr2k2 @GAGLine @Clark Kellogg @Ranger Ric @Amazing Kreiderman @UAGoalieGuy @cwede and Savant, you guys can add another player to nominate on your post if you want.
I'll go with Fortescue and Garand.

Closed out before I could vote.
Gabe is interesting to me. There are a lot of things to love about his game. Theres a lot of Datsyukian maturity but there are also some pretty important things he's going to need to improve upon if he wants to be just as effective at the NHL level. But he's got plenty of time for that, as do most prospects.
Othmann was very good, but not as prolific a player as Gabe is at this moment, so in regards to the timeline I'm going with Gabe at #1 and Othmann #2.
I usually adjust it the other way around for these polls considering Othmann has already had NHL time, but I dont think you can ignore what Gabe's role and contributions were on a gold medal winning team.
Add Garand.
Dave Starman was talking about Perrault and his edgework/tight turning radius and how that will translate really well to the pro level. One of the knocks going into the draft (seems to be a theme with Ranger picks) was his skating so it was nice to hear and see this on display during the World Juniors.I feel like a lot of those things were things he did really well at the WJC.
His retrieval rate and puck battles won were noticeable. They were tracked and he came out tops on his line too (even ahead of Leonard who did a whole lot of the driving of the bus otherwise.) He graded out as the best defensively of the 3 too (with Smith easily being the worst.)
I think Fortescue more than holding his own at this tournament was probably the biggest surprise, but seeing Gabe excel against his peers in an area that has been a weakness for him (at the NCAA level) was a giant plus. The willingness and ability are certainly there. Want to see if these carry over into his regular season or if he was just able to be more successful because he's not going up against guys who are 23-25. Regardless, these weren't really areas where he excelled as recently as the u18's so its a massive arrow in the right direction. Didn't hinder him from doing what he normally does either.
it doesn't change his ETA for me as physical growth still needs to happen but injuries aside I dont see any way he plays more than another year in college. What he will do to the NCAA (and the WJC) next season is going to be unholy. Get ready for some awful trade proposal from opposing fan bases.
Thank you![TABLE=collapse]

I agree next year he could very well take another step playing as an older u20. He'll bulk up a bit and playing in a strong college division against some older kids become men will help. His mind will always be a step ahead and I could see him take another leap in the deception dept, similar to Fox.
Sometimes you forget how young these kids are that you are assessing. Hes got all the tools and is trending to be the absolute steal of the 23 draft
Yes that's what I see too. Power skating will need to be a focus. His straight ahead skating in not at all explosive but his edge work is very good.
