Add Lettieri. Same age as Meskanen and has been better in Hartford, so if Meskanens up there, Lettieri shouldn't be far behind at the least.

Barron, Gettinger, Nieves are the next tier for me.

Barron this time; hard to go against those tools and that development curve.

Add Sjalin. Not going to lie, the fact that we had an outspoken poster (who was chased away, who was wrong about almost every defenseman he vouched for, and who shall remain nameless) pumping his tires, is a negative in my book. But I mean... gotta be right sometimes... right?

The fact that Reunanen was not slotted in the last ranking is baffling to me....
When that last poll was done, we had two post-draft seasons to evaluate him on: a mediocre D+1 season in Mestis, which is like ECHL caliber or below, and a D+2 season where neither Liiga teams would play him consistently or in a meaningful role and he was loaned to a Mestis team and played U20 for TPS.

It was fair, after his really disappointing two years post-draft, to wonder if his injury had permanently altered his abilities. Maybe he should have been on there as an honorable mention, but he really hadn't accomplished anything to actually be ranked, IMO.

Well yes, but the skill was still present. Just needed a break....

We know that now. If that wasn't in question, he would have gone top-60, top-30 like he was projected to before his injury. But nobody really knew. And then he goes to Mestis and posts something like 9 assists in 43 games, which didn't inspire confidence, and was then a healthy scratch for two Liiga teams. Lots of questions about what he was still capable of doing.

I'm happy it looks like it's working out, but rarely do guys see turnarounds like Tarmo.

Looking at the list I wouldn't say Tarmo's turnaround was that much more likely than Hughes putting up a ridiculous stat line next to Newhook, an older guy like O'Gara having a stronger camp etc. I mean Ronning and Day were picked too high but it's not like the thought process behind that was all wrong.

Had to go with Boo. 7 points in 15 games playing 10 minutes a night, mostly on the 4th line.
