Here we are again! WJCs just wrapped up and most of our prospects are more than halfway through their seasons. Krav played with a torn tricep, and Miller got sick at the start of the tournament so we didn't get the big breakout from either, but both still played respectable out there (esp Krav). Lundkvist and Gross also held their own out there which was nice to see.

So, lets get to ranking!

Rangers Prospect Ranking (Summer 2018) - FINAL LIST

I'm really high on Kravtsov, but I voted for Chytil over him for a couple reasons:

1) Chytil's NHL production is very impressive for his age. He's the highest scoring U20 player taken outside of the top 4 this year and has positive relative possession stats. Since getting moved off the 4th line, he's scored almost 0.5 ppg. For his 2nd post-draft season, that would put him in a really good cohort of players, including Voracek, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Dylan Larkin, Zibanejad, and Drouin. It's not quite Kuznetsov, Tarasenko, Panarin, etc, but it's not that far behind.
2) Although I don't think his shot is as good as Kravtsov's, Chytil has a great skillset, including well-above-average size, skating ability, hands, and passing ability.
3) Although they were in different draft classes, Chytil is only 3 months older than Kravtsov.
4) The biggest one for me is that, after putting up similar production to Kravtsov in the KHL, Tolvanen has struggled to adjust to the NHL and I think has lost some luster as an NHL prospect this year. That puts a shred of debt in my mind about Kravtsov that I don't have about Chytil, who has already demonstrated the ability to produce at the NHL level.

Add Miller.

Shesterkin by miles and it isn't close. Most important position and a very talented talent playing it.

Chytil hasn’t scored in 72 hours so he can’t be the pick (dripping sarcasm).

Going Kravtsov, add Miller

Chytil, add Miller. Y'all, don't forget that Chytil and Kravtsov are only separated by just under 4 months.

These always confuse me a bit since Chytil is on the team... it's like he's a prospect still? Otherwise Kravtsov

Players are still eligible until they play 65 NHL games. Next poll he likely will not be eligible anymore.
