Here we go! The draft is underway and we will have some fresh bodies to add to our list. Out of our top 10, the only player that is being removed is Barron for obvious reasons. I am keeping Schneider in the ranking despite him playing 1-2 more games to be eligible, since he is still so young at 20 years old, and we have made the exception for other players before under the same circumstances.

Schneider is the pick here. Most coveted player in trade talks. RHD with bite to his game. Was close with him and Othmann though, but went with the player that played in the NHL this season on the 3rd pairing of a team that went to the ECF. His partner was either Nemeth or Braun, one was a non-NHLer, the other was another RHD playing okay on their off-side.

Would love to see him with the player I'd probably ranked 4th, Zac Jones.

Berard is the add. His season in Providence was fantastic. He'll be anchoring the top line for the WJC next month. One more season at the NCAA level. After that, he's pro bound. Probably some AHL time needed, but he's a 3rd line type player pretty soon. Have to see if he develops beyond that type of player at the NHL level.

Still think Kravtsov has the highest upside once he pulls his head out of Jovo’s ass. I’m hoping an offseason training with Prentiss gets him in further good graces and helps him solidify a top-9 spot. Schneider is next for me.

Schneider just held up through a run to the ECF a year before any of us thought he would be ready so its gotta be him. Clearly has top 4 D potential. For all the absurd talk of Drury gutting the farm, the Rangers still have a very deep prospect pool.
