Georgiev is better than Shesterkin right now at the same age. He certainly should be right there with him in the prospect ratings. But to be behind Lias is as silly as when you guys voted miller behind Lias 6 months ago.

Yeah I have no issue with those that don't vote for him because he's not the best choice in their eyes. It's just those that "boycott" because they don't think he should be eligible. We have eligibility standards and even if you don't agree you should adhere to them so at to not produce skewed results.

If we didn't have the kid coming in from Russia with such hype to be the next franchise guy, I think Georgiev, with what he did last year, would be valued much higher.

My hesitation with Georgiev is how poor he's played and for how long it took him to turn it around at the beginning of both seasons in NA

How is Georgiev still a Prospect? And how is he not higher?

He's not higher because the foregone conclusion is that Shesterkin (ShestYORKin is a better name) will assume the job.

No respect. Love Georgiev and wouldn't bet a dollar against him being a key part of what we are building - whether that be as a '1B' or 'the guy' - I'm sold on him.

This is a factor for me this round. Were Shesty not in the system, I may have voted Geo here; though I can't say for sure.

Up to the #6 spot, there were clear cut better guys for me though.
