We're stacked.

We're at #7, not including the graduated and all of these kids would have been our #1-2 over the past decades

Reactions: Rangers in 7
There is only 1 player on that list that has proven he can not only play in the NHL, but have success. He arguably should be even higher on this prospect list right now based on that fact alone.

Do yourselves a favor and take a look at his stats in the 2nd half, when he began getting more consistent playing time. He did that playing behind a makeshift lineup of rookies and journeymen AHL fodder.

Alexandar Georgiev

Alexandar Georgiev

A lot of posters seem to be protesting Georgiev’s inclusion as a prospect given his experience. Which I don’t agree with, but that could affect his ranking.

Even so, I would have him 8th or 9th. The players above him all have the potential to have better NHL careers than Georgiev, only question is whether or not they hit those ceilings.

I know he's technically by these standards a prospect but I'll be abstaining from voting for Georgie. I'm going to go Nils here but super tough pick.

A lot of this will depend on their value. Nils is going to be higher due to being a RHD (in spite of our current abundance of this kind of player at the NHL level).

Went with Georgiev. Feel like we could be a starter and a very good one at that. The battle between him and Shestyerkin will be interesting over the next 2-3 years to see who earns the net and 50ish starts.

Add Barron. Too many accomplishments at the NCAA level to not be on the list now. Feel like he'll be low compared to his performance, but the rest of the prospects ahead of him have similar, if not more value.
