add Gross.
and i really doubt 17 guys out-career Aaltonen,
but of course i hope they all turn into difference makers

This side of @Amazing Kreiderman - For those voting Aaltonen, you’ve never seen him play.

Lindbom is the pick based on where he was selected 13 months ago.
1. We have a ton of European posters that have seen the European prospects play extensively, and we also have North America posters who have watched the European prospects extensively (streams aren't hard to find for the top leagues; though admittedly most likely haven't seen Altonen).

2. Are we doing a prospect poll where we rank guys based on our our viewings, opinions, reports we've read, perceived upside and readiness, etc., or are we just arranging prospects based on where they were drafted? That "X was picked in the second and Y in the 4th so X > Y" has never held any water with me. Scouts get it wrong all the time, later round picks outperform higher picks all the time, and this poll is about personal opinions of where guys belong. If you want to justify a poll choice based solely on where a guy was selected, you're not going to sway many people. We all know who was picked where.

I have watched Gettinger more than the vast majority of posters going back to his Soo days. I think he's going to have a solid, successful NHL career. I literally don't care if someone was a higher pick than him, at this point, unless I happen to also like that player more. But the draft position is irrelevant to me, particularly once you get a coupe years out from the draft year of different guys.
