Don't know much about these guys so I'll take the second rounder from last year.

Add Edstrom. I'm going to go ahead of the curve. I think this kid could be top 15 next year and will create don't buzz.

Voted for Jones and have Aaltonen on deck. I would have them much higher on my list (Jones around 10-11 and Aaltonen around 11-15). Add Skinner or Elmer.

Add Pajuniemi

Went Lindbom due to his draft position and the fact that, other than being injured, he did nothing to his stock last season that was harmful.

dead horse but this pool is hilariously deep

it's #17 and we are still talking about legitimate NHL chances while #17 two years ago would've been an ECHL scrub where if everything went right he could be an NHL 13th F

We will see. Size plus skating is always good. But there's always a reason when a kid that size falls so far- especially when he is playing in one of the now highest scouted leagues. More gems tend to fall in the 2nd tier of European hockey that no one is watching.

I think the 17-19 slots are where we have some really intriguing upsides, and a pair of players (Jones and Aaltonen) who have skills sets that you hope can continue to develop and translate.

So we kind of round out the top 20 with some of those higher end skill swings that people really wanted to take a few years back.

Good way to look at it and building a bit on @Raspewtin centiment above - I'm glad that we discussing these prospect in post-15 spots instead of top 5-10 as was the case just recently.

enjoy it while it last cause it might be a 1 year thing...good chance that 6 of the top 10 guys will 'graduate' this year so next summer alot of guys will be moved up. it will still be a deep list but not the insanity we are seeing this year

If Kreider and Namestnikov are moved in a hockey trade (with just a little of cap dump discount) we could have 3-4 guys as immediate replacement so the drop off wouldn't be that dramatic.
