I've been voting for Aaltonen for 4 rounds now

A few questions @Amazing Kreiderman : In his interview, he (Aaltonen) expressed he had anticipated being selected in Rounds 2-3. Was that perception accurate? Where would you have selected him?

Lastly, I'll just say I was genuinely impressed by Aaltonen's drive. He looks like he has no business out there (too young, too small) and he just kept getting more confident throughout the June camp. My take away is that Aaltonen just doing give a flying F / he's accustomed to being the smallest, youngest etc.

A bit of Zucc? @Amazing Kreiderman

Aaltonen definitely had the talent to go in the 2nd/3rd round but unfortunately, the majority of GMs and scouts still live in the 1980s and his size is what had him drop to the 5th. I am really happy we got him that late in the draft. I don't think the Zuccarello comparison is a good one. Aaltonen is a much better finisher and skater. Aaltonen reminds me a lot of Tony Amonte

It's been going on for years. Often any one of us will find himself voting for somebody 15/20 times before they finally make it. I get that it's frustrating but it's not really a great argument for why someone should choose your guy.

I went with Jones here. Aaltonen and Ragnarsson were the other two I was thinking about. I've been trying to add Lettieri for some time now. No one cares. :) WTF!

Not Jones' fault but our recent history turned me off smallish offensive LDs. Just can't help myself.

I don't like Lettieri's game but I've gotta go with adding the guy who was at a PPG in the AHL to at least end up in the top 25.

Guys like Skinner, Edstrom, Gross, and Elmer are also interesting.

Keane is kind of a turning point for us I think. After him it's not so clear and I don't think we're going to see another prospect just dominate a round.
