Interested to see how Keane translates to the pros. That's this year, correct?

Keane. I think he belongs here, in the bottom of a tier that includes our last three or four ranked guys. Jones is in a tier all his own for me right now; he doesn't quite belong with our top 16, but seems to be well above the rest of our group.

Add Pajuniemi! In the matter of a couple months last year, he went from 5th round pick to practical lock for the Finnish WJC team, then got injured and forgotten, despite playing a season against men in Liiga.

he is signed and eligible for Hartford,
NYR could assign him to Juniors for an overage season,
but probably unlikley,
Raddysh is only NYR RHD w HWP (and LoVerde on AHL deal)

if returned to London, while joining his brother, he might block Skinner ...

Personally, I've got Zac Jones at the top of a tier with Henriksson, Lindgren, Hajek, and Keane and I think he deserves consideration here. Just some food for thought:

1) Zac Jones: Oct-2000, 5'10", 176 lb, 0.93 ppg, contributed to 23% of his team's goals
Cam York: Jan-2001, 5'11", 174 lb, 1.18 USHL ppg, contributed to 17% of his team's goals

2) USHL PPG by draft eligible defenseman the last 10 years:

3. Zac Jones - 0.93
4. Adam Fox - 0.88
7. Trouba - 0.82
10. K'Andre - 0.73

Generally, I think USNTDP point totals get a little inflated relative to other USHL teams

3) If the Rangers drafted Zac Jones 10 spots after Henriksson, we almost certainly had scouts who thought Jones should have been ranked higher than Henriksson

4) Our US scouting team (picked Miller, Skjei, Miller, Kreider, and Stepan) has been really good

Add Ragnarsson, who the Rangers drafted ahead of Keane last year. I'm not sure why he's falling behind Sjalin and Pajuniemi after being ahead of them last poll. The guy got signed to the SHL off of a team that's going to play beer league hockey next year.

+1 on Z. Jones, and I wouldn’t sleep on N. Jones in the next wave of slots to come.

I love the Jones selection, just hard for me to rank him ahead of some of the other names at this point in time. He's probably my vote just after Keane.

I definitely see an argument for Ragnarsson, but while both him and Paju had strong post draft seasons - look at their respective playing positions in the Ranger prospects pool - there're no wings after K&K while look at all LDs there. Ragnar is next to me.
Eh I dont think its fair to deduct Rangarsson for our organization depth. Its not his fault that hes in this organization with so many left handed dmen in his way. Imo he had the far stronger D+1 season of the 2 and should be added before Paju. It is close though as Paju is my next choice to add
