Rykov by a landslide. Very happy he made our top-10.

Next round I’d be torn between Barron and Reunanen. Then it will be time for our 2019 2nd round picks.

Add Keane who’s one of remaining prospects with top-4 upside. Aaltonen next.

Robertson is being underrated here just based on him falling in the draft and where we got him. Pre-draft, he was projected as a late first in the 20-30 range, and if we had had drafted him there, think he’d be ranked 7 or 8. Seems like his floor is a bottom pair d-man with a very good chance of being second pair or better.

Lot of people sleeping on Tarmo IMO

Giving it a further thought I will be voting Tarmo next. 1D in Liiga is closer than 1C in college even if the upside between second pair D and 2C is close. Plus, Tarmo didn’t just give an “average” first pair showing last year - his minutes and production was in a top tier among this group too.

Don't you think the same can be said for Rykov and Hajek? And they're closer, as well.

Went with Rykov, as last round. He's going to push Hajek in camp, as I think most believe Hajek is the front-runner to crack the left side of our defense this season. Rykov could come in a swipe that from him. Amazing to have both of these guys here.

Keane and Ragnarsson are going to be quite underrated when it comes to our polls. Not to mention that our defensive prospects are this good that we have upwards of 10 that have a shot at the NHL, and not just being a 6th or a 7th guy either. Listening to @Amazing Kreiderman on Ragnarsson has got me more excited about his future in the NHL, even if he becomes a trade chip for us.

I'll say to add Keane. If he stayed in Barrie last season, he probably puts up 50 points, maybe a little more. The move to London, which was a stacked team, killed his offensive time. Have a feeling some here will be surprised in pre-season with him this year and this should set up nicely for him to have a few years in the AHL without needing to be rushed to grow. Could be ripe when we really need players on defense on an ELC.

I think its less about people sleeping on him and more about our d prospects being ridiculous...you could take the group of hajek, rykov, robertson and reunanen put those 4 in any order and I won't argue with the 1st 2 but will argue that the 3rd and 4th guy are being underrated lol...then not to mention lindgren the fact that he might end up in the teens is nuts.

I think in a year, you’re probably right. I’m a big fan, and think his top end might only be surpassed by Miller among our LD prospects. But, those voted ahead of him have accomplished more professionally and are no slouches when it comes to talent. Hajek could end up being the 2nd-pairing LD by season’s end. Rykov could end up making the team. Robertson where he is now is fine. But, next year will be a different story.

I imagine we'll have a much better sorting of the D prospects after the prospects tournament. That one basically sank Bereglazov from 6 to 20th a few years back.
