I have Emberson, Chmelar, Edstrom as a grouping.

Then Fortescue, Mancini, Barbashev

I see them as tiers

I do think Ollas and Scanlin deserves to be in that 2nd tier

That's a fair grouping.

I do think Laba can make a jump if he follows up his last season with an even better performance. He was definitely a pleasant surprise last year.

just my view,
but i see the current tier as being ~12 guys,
with little clear basis for sorting them, aside from gut,
- with guys like Larsson, Henricksson, Trivigno, Korczak in that mix too

and really. do we know enough about Laba, Lamb, Vaisanen, Boyko, ... to confidently slot them further behind ...

this is fun exercise, but destined to seem curious if revisited in ~ 4 seasons

Barbie AINEC
if AINEC, please can tell us a little about why?

he was 4th leading total points scorer on his team,
just a hair ahead of 5th guy who played 10 less games,
36th overall in the league

don't get me wrong, quite glad he had a strong season,
just curious why he gives you such strong confidence

What do you like about him? Aside from his nationality.

He’s physical and drives to the net very well, seems built for the playoffs scored that winning goal in game 7 OT. Looks to have more swagger than a lot of our other prospects in how he cellys after his goals lol I like the edge he has. Dobber has his NHLe as a 2nd liner based on his production last season. His brother is a pretty good player too

Y'all disrespecting my boy Edstrom. Gotta remember his age and man strength. He's probably in Bhutan training with The League of Assassins as we speak. I'm not saying he's going to come into camp and steal a spot.....only when he does I'm going full @EdJovanovski on y'all.

Agree he seems ahead of most remaining guys, even tho I voted Fort
With 3 full SHL seasons, not yet 23, his size and battle, and that taste of his skating and hands of his goal for Pack, he may have a firmer floor than most guys in pipeline
