The fact Lindy is at a reasonable 3 for the next 2 is irrelevant, b'c they need to scrape every nickel.
Yes, we do have to reinvent the wheel.
We need to allow youth to emerge and sell high on our vets and max our cap, NOT play the vets and hold back youth to everyone's detriment.

I stand by what I said.
Panarin is 98% not going anywhere, but I could see if PLD went to MON he would go, along w/LaF, and we would get a haul back that would be much better for our cap going forward. But we are going to have to kick in Lindgren [and get reimbursed for doing so] in order to send PLD to Habs + Suzuki + to us.

I completely disagree. Lindgren is 24 and will still be an RFA when his contract is up. We can worry about whether he's worth his next contract in 2024.

That said, this is the wrong thread for that and the "what if we trade Laf for Slaf" talk.

It is pertinent only as to disclosing the rationale for how a slot for Robertson could open up promptly.
That does make it legit for mention here.
