This is interesting and probably the best argument to defend the pick. If the best goalie in the draft was projected to go at 49, and our scouts think Lindbom is the best goalie, is it really that much of a reach at 39? Even discussing this as a reach, you could argue that position matters, especially with goalies.

It's all over the map. Even if you go with the most favorable rating for any of these guys, I still think Lindbom was a round or two too high. Although, this does show certain outlets are higher on goalies than most, like TSN/Mac.
