This board continues to undervalue him.

His potential is as a very useful support player. The kid has improved every single year he's been in juniors.

He's not going to carry a line by himself, which seems to be what people want to ding him for, but he's a very capable slot-based scorer.

Eh. Tremendous upside but lots of questions. There's a reason he slipped into the third round. Last season for him was a step in the right direction, but really, was just a good but not great performance. He's got more to prove to me before I'm willing to vote for him ahead of someone like Graves, who isn't even a guy I'm that high on. If he starts the year well in Hartford he could skyrocket up this poll.

Day was good, at times very good.

But if it wasn't Sean Day, I don't know if anyone would be mentioning his season nearly as much as they are.

He took a positive step forward. But there is still a lot of work to be done.
