Went with DeAngelo. He's got some serious upside. Has consistently produced at a 50pt clip down in the AHL and did very well last year in the NHL on an atrocious team. Former 19th overall pick and only 21 years old. Best case scenario, if he continues to improve in his own end he could be a bonafide first/second pairing offensive RD.
Still close between him and Chytil. If Chytil takes a step forward this upcoming season and well outproduces his last, he might have gone in the top 10 of 2018's draft class. But there is significant risk that doesn't happen, and because of that I think this is DeAngelo's spot to lose.
