LW Ryan Gropp won round 13. LW Malte Stromwall is added to the poll.

WHO IS A PROSPECT: We can't all have different standards based on what we each want personally, so we follow HF rules. The standard for what's a prospect is here: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect

I specifically want to point out that Paliotta and Hrivik are eligible as prospects since they played under 65 games. Every year there are people who declare something like, "I don't consider Buchnevich to be a prospect because he's guaranteed to play on the Rangers." That is not the standard. We cannot have everyone follow a difference standard because then the results will be meaningless. By HF standards, McIlrath and others I listed are eligible, therefore they will count as prospects here.

Please write-in who you think should be added to the poll.

Add Hrivik because he's already NHL-ready.

Voted Zborovskiy based on the highest potential of the remaining prospects.

Please no Tarmo. He's an undersized offense-first guy who's not putting up points in the Finnish *minors.* Even the Finnish major league is nothing special, probably below AHL-level, and he's in their second-tier minor league. You'd think he'd dominate at that level the way Shesterkin dominated the VHL last season (and the VHL is better than the Finnish minors based on salaries, as well as that Russian hockey leagues are generally better than Finnish). But instead, he's putting up very lackluster numbers. Again, if he were big or defense-first, fine, but he's an offense guy playing in a league not that far above beer league level.

C'mon, Beacon. The guy was in the conversation with Juolevi going into last year, and then lost a year due to injury. It is ABSOLUTELY reasonable to have him in the conversation at this level. And the fact that he's starting out playing his first hockey in a year in the 2nd league, and has yet to put up a ton of points – ESPECIALLY as a defenseman, offensive minded or otherwise – is hardly a reason to knock him. At least not yet.

Good post. I happen to agree. And it's not like Juolevi is playing at the AHL level either. Players don't usually run up points in European leagues like they do in some North American leagues either. Is his competition all that worse than what Sean Day or Sergei Zborovskiy are facing?
