Well, normally we start these at the completion of the World Junior Championships, but unfortunately, that has come to a sudden end. So here we are a couple of weeks early!

Players who have graduated from the last list and are no longer eligible: Lafrenière, Miller, and Gauthier.

** Please say who you want added**

As always, if @nyr2k2 could help with the table of players who are eligible, that would be much appreciated!!

Well, I feel this list will be the toughest in recent years....which should make for some good discussion.

I'm going with Lundkvist still at this point, he made the roster and is playing respectable at this point for a rookie.

Add Cuylle just over Roberston.

Add Robertson

ugh, here is Krava again. Idk if he is better than Nils really ... but we need the trade value. lol

also, after the early graduations, our prospect pool is thinning out again.

Maybe that's just what happens, maybe I'm greedy.

It’s easily Kravtsov on talent.

Add Robertson

VK, Schneider, Nils, Jones, Othmann

Can’t put Othmann higher until his skating improves

I think Schneider will be a bonafide impact player. Low end he’s a fair 2nd pair defenseman. High end, he’s a Parayko and eventually wears a letter.

Add Korczak - think he has a good chance to be a middle 6 center. Garand, Cuylle, and Robertson also make a case.

This top five is gonna be cutthroat.

Add Robertson but Garand is right there

Schneider, add Robertson.
Both Cuylle and Garand deserved adding aswell, but Robertson is further ahead on the path to be a NHL player.
Should end with a good number of NHL-players on this list when its done.

Lundkvist

Add Korczak, who has been very impressive in his D+1 season in the WHL

The thing for me is, he put up PPG numbers on his team D-2, absolutely crushed it, and nobody was even close to him on points that season. That was 2 years ago and he still putting up PPG numbers (slightly above, but much better players around him). I'm sure his defense is better and tangibles but I would expect a player who dominated 2 years prior to his draft year to be dominating a bit more than he is now. Which is why it's hard for me to be on board that he is having a very impressive D +1.

Granted this is all going by stat watching only.

Schneider add Garand. If not for Garand and Cuylle I'd have added Korczak. I'm no expert, but I like what I've been hearing.
And in Othmann vs Kravtsov I'd take Othmann. Not a so much knock on VK than that Othmann is lights out.

This top five is gonna be cutthroat...

top ~12 likely gonna be tight, I expect -
after these 6, gotta have spots soon for
Garand, Robertson, Cuylle, Barron,
and valid reasons to believe in upside of Paju and Korczy

What does Othmann do, on the ice, better than Kravtsov?

Othmann is still incredible boom/bust. He is a worse skater than Lafreniere who may or may not be able to keep up at this level. I’d move Othmann while his stock is high.
