Went with Robertson here, think he's a pretty safe bet to carve out a nice NHL career as a middle pair dman. Othmann is next on my radar.

I certainly think he fits the defensive corps that this group is developing into better.

Unless Jones turns into one of the top 5 PP QBs in the league, no one is supplanting Fox from that first unit role for the next decade.

Nils HAS to be on the power play to maximize his effectiveness. I think he will be the half boards shooter on the second unit.

That only leaves the 2nd unit PPQB spot for Jones, and right now that's Trouba's spot to lose. Also, like we've said before, it'd be super rare to have three blueliners under 200 lbs and 6 foot, and I rate Nils higher than Jones.

As for Robertson, young Marc Staal ideally. I don't think he's gonna be scoring 35+ a season for us.
