Fil the Thrill is very similar to Phil the Thrill. Streaky but great shot and needs a groove. Confident shooter Fil is night and day from Fil looking for teammates.

3rd period was really good. complete lock down outside of that one scramble with 3 minutes left. 1st 2 periods were meh. overall very even esp. considering no Strome or Kakko

I really liked the new Laf line. keep it together.

One game and the results are there, but I like the Lafreniere Chytil Blais line.

Rangers 3-1-1 overall and are on a 3 game winning streak. Lafreniere with 2 GWG, Shesterkin is a brick wall, Fox is goat status. This is with missing 1/3 of their top 6, Panarin not looking like himself yet, new players still getting acclimated, PP still not clicking, having Greg McKegg on the ice at all and still winning (3-0 with him lol).

Idk why people seem kind of down. The Kravtsov thing?

This team to me screams a team that is going to be good. Finding ways to win when you have a ton of obstacles is a big thing. Then once everyone starts to hit their stride I have a feeling it's all going to click at some point this year and they're going to be legitimately good, dare I say legit contender if Shesterkin can be this good all year.

I don't know what to make of this team. Objectively, we're getting outplayed, but we keep getting points. The PP is a f***ing disaster and the second PP unit is a joke.

But 3-1-1 to start the season. Not too shabby.

Blais also took 2 bonehead penalties. Had the preds scored on one, he’s getting MF’d all over the place.

His pass to Laf on the goal was slick, but I don’t think he had a great game.

He would be a damn folk hero with this fanbase already if he didn't have to overcome the Buch thing. I really like this player.
