Even though they only got scored on once, that was one of the worst periods of the playoffs. Constant giveaways, losing their man, terrible gap control, no sustained forechecking. Just terrible.

Our D are making terrible decisions....and there is definitely something wrong with McDonagh. He got best by Vitale and had trouble turning. Klein and Moore are a disaster out there. If it wasn't for Staal, we would be in serious trouble.
Time to give him the rest of the season off the PP, he NEVER looks to shoot, it's literally a given he's going to pass.

The way we looked in the 2nd period in game 1 and game 2 I'm utterly embarrassed. We don't belong on the same ice as this team. This team is ****ing garbage. Just getting embarrassed and outclassed by a team that's in a different league from them. Embarrassing. And when they have an opportunity to do anything they botch it. Great passing idiots.
Figures, right? Fleury is garbage in the post season except when WE play him.

Lundqvist GOD mode that period. the effort this period has been horrible but only down 1-0, I have faith in a third period surge our team has shown it is capable of. come on, rewrite the script on this one. I want to see some better plays and people standing up to the Pens physicality (a great game strategy in a back-to-back situation)

Not a ton, but he's made a few very tough saves, and has controlled rebounds well.
In the event we somehow turn this around, Hank will be playing game 3 himself, the rest of the team will be doing time for theft...

Just gross... The PP failure, the sloppiness with the puck, and the inability to score still plague this team in the playoffs. With all of Sather's tinkering with the roster through the years, one would think he would at least fluke his way into solving one of these problems.
