Rangers were taken to school. I had said against Boston, the Rangers would have a winning season because they are playing good D. And then we promptly won the next 3 out of 4. Well tonight the Pens,... put on a defensive clinic. They did not allow the Rangers to carry it across the blueline. And when the Rangers tried to dump and chase, the Pens healthy D-men moved the puck so quickly, we couldn't pressure them. We couldn't force them to turn the puck over. The Pens played an excellent game. Gotta give them credit. We need to move pass this game and continue our fine play.

I would not vote for a single player other than maybe Kinkaid or Nolan Ryan.

They did not win a single loose puck battle the last 50 minutes of the game the exception of the penalty kills.

The Rangers looked like a beer league team.

Yes, I am salty after watching that.

Sounds like it's a good thing i stopped watching after the first 10
That's the one thing we miss from last year. Seems like we lose interest when we are behind. There isn't that never give up mentality we had last year when we came back from big deficits.

I always find it odd that coaches bring back players from injury the first game of back to backs. Kakko looked like the 2019 version tonight, assuming he didn't have his legs after playing yesterday.

This game was a stiff reminder of what our team currently is.

I love it how whenever we lose that's who the team truly is but when we win that's a fluke.

To add to that, this was the worst loss in terms of point spread since the first game of the season. This was also the first time we allowed 5 goals in regulation not including an empty netter. Just the 3rd time we allowed 5 goals in general. But yes, this game is representative what this team is. f*** that noise.

A couple of things:

1. Georgiev let the team down. The first goal just can’t go in and it completely changed the complexion of the game. The Rangers dominated the first several minutes. This was much like the first game against NJ.

2. The inability to shake off the bad goaltending is troubling but expected for a team this inexperienced. Hopefully they learn from this and we see a better result on Tuesday.

3. I’ll continue to repeat this - where the F is our $10M superstar? What the f*** is going on with him? The silence of deafening.
