Cliff notes please?
He said, without naming names, that certain D should have the red light when it comes to jumping up in the play because they don’t bring anything to the table offensively then get caught.

Also said that he understands everyone’s criticism about the D backing up into the zone, but a lot of the blame is on the forwards for having no back pressure.

I like My Cousin Vinnie, but he's been absolute dog shit so far.Constantly deferring to bread and turning pucks over in the process.Make a f***ing play with the puck.Hes certainly not the only problem though

Wherever the keg is!
Poll is incorrect. It should be which caliber bullet is more appropriate.

No...no! Not for the Rangers!

Yeah, it's getting close to Trouba helmet throwing time again.

In all seriousness this team needs some serious change. The dead weight isn't going anywhere so we need to coach to their advantages. As Vali said, the forwards need to be more prevalent in getting back and helping the D. They can't be flying the zone the second Warrior might have the puck, hint: He can't make that pass anyway guys. Also not sure I can watch another snow angel from these guys. No one does that anymore Phil, please stop coaching these guys to do it.

This man/zone hybrid we're doing in the D zone can go away now. This team can't skate with anyone and all it's doing is having guys chase guys aimlessly and leave wide open passes.

I just don't see how this team can watch this style of play and think this is okay. These guys gotta buy in and compete. It's cliche but look at Florida and how Maurice got those guys to buy in. If you don't wanna buy in, GTFO.

It might not be fun hockey to watch, but I'd rather win 2-1, 3-2 than get the doors blown off overnight as we're trying to do whatever it is we're doing.

I truly think this is the product of the lack of accountability and meritocracy throughout the last 5 or more years. The "aw shucks, we'll get them next time" attitude is rotten throughout so many of these guys. Tro couldn't stop saying it, urgency. There is no urgency with these guys. They just wanna wait and see what happens. This league isn't going to give you the Cup because we have 2 ECF finals. You gotta take it. Stop being allergic to the middle of the ice and contact. They're so easy to play against, it's embarrassing.

We need to see some lineup changes. Certain guys need to be rewarded and others need a reality check. It doesn't need to be permanent but they need a wake up call. This is not acceptable, this is far below what you're capable of.

It's gut check time for Lavi. These guys can't do what he wants them to do. It's time to be the bad guy and get them playing right again.

Looks like Captain material.
I’ve had this thought as well. He at least has some “rizz” as the kids like to say, and does seem to really give a shit about winning.

I’m having a hard time getting worked up over this. We know what needs to change with this team. We know that they didn’t make the necessary changes in the offseason.

I’m not going to expect different results until the changes are made.

Rangers are playing like poop. And they cost a lot of money for tickets. In the 200s its like $200 a ticket for decent seats on a rival matchup. Then $20 for a beer.

I just checked, I can go sit in the 3rd row, center ice for the Hartford Wolfpack and watch Rempe and its only $32 a ticket plus fees of another $14.

Get my hockey fix, sit in unbelievable seats, I bet the concessions are cheaper too. Thats my way of thumbing my nose to Trouba, Zibanejad and the rest of these overpaid lounge lizards. I gotta look into the logistics of this.

It's almost the whole team. Whatever leaders we have need to lead the team out of this hole. I don't know who that is.

Saw this with the AV teams too but something about certain leadership on teams get complacent after having success for a bit. Every bad game is no big deal just gotta clean things up etc etc instead of having a sense of urgency. You can’t coast because you were good in the past which is what this team loves to do

One Friday night a month, the Wolfpack does $2 Bud Lights & $2 Hotdogs. I don't drink shitty beer & I don't eat hotdogs, but for others that's a really inviting offer.

Do you live up here in the land of the leaf blower?

Rec hockey club . No leadership . If anyone wanted to change things it easily enough could be Kreider . He could drop them and give somebody a few shots and get some blood pumping.....but I guess he scores enough so why ask for any extra . We hardly ever see any extra from this club which is why we get a low amount of PP chances . Heck even Pastrnack will drop them....not our guys though .

It's the entire top 6 minus Panarin, plus 2/3rds of the d-men.

Kudos to VInny for talking tough, but his play this year has left a lot to be desired. He's been part of the problem.
