I'd shuffle those lines around a bit personally. Neither rookie seems to gel with those line mates very much so far.

Andersson - Hayes - Zucc
Spooner - Chytil - Buch

On an unrelated note, no way Miller gets much of a tribute at all, I'd guess either they do one big one with a few clips of him or they do ones for McD and G and nothing for him.

McD was captain and G was here forever, Miller was here for a comparatively short time and wasn't really a team leader.

Edit: also where are those ratings in the first post from and what do they mean?

Even though I still think we got shafted trading Miller for Namestnikov, him being back with another team doesn't bother me.

Mac on the other hand, wearing another teams jersey is surely going to get me emotional.

I think this game, especially in the first, is going to get real ugly.

McLeod fights Miller and gets his ass kicked, then Miller scores and does a "throat slit" motion to the Rangers bench and then again while staring directly into the camera, like Rick Nash would do. McDonagh claps in the background and Girardi chuckles.

Then we play the Girardi tribute mid-game while play is going on, he cries and walks off the bench and back to the locker room - he is out for the rest of the game with "feelings." McDonagh grimaces.

Rangers lose 17 - 2

Chytil and Andersson both score. Vesey has 3 goals taken away for 3 different reviews: goalie interference, offsides, and high stick.

Honestly, I came here to read your predictions / hopes for this game. This says all I need to know about your true assessment of JTM as a hockey player he become.
 
DD solve all problem on Earth, especially the tiny ice bear population, and I admit it`s quite seldom I see penguins now and the rare whale - I don`t remember it name at the moment, but DD hopefully solve line problems in MSG too.

2. Baseball has more players than hockey. Doesn't that make it more watered-down?
3. What does over-coached mean?
4. Someone who thinks a hard cap is a tumor is most likely a fan of a big-market MLB team. Is it Yankees for you?
5. Would you be in favor of abolishing the NHL draft and allowing players to sign wherever they want?
6. Most importantly, why if you hate the NHL, do you post here and even pay attention to it, at all?

2) Hockey is watered down in the sense that every team has enough to be passable but nobody has enough to fill all their holes. MLB has good teams and bad teams. They don't have teams in first place or winning championships that get outplayed every night.

3) Bad teams succeed because there's systematic ways to slow down even strength scoring and remove variance from the game. If you have a player that scores every other game like Ovechkin, you win a lot of games. This works because the NHL is designed to remove the talent gap between teams. That's why a lot of us feel the change would be drastic if we replaced the coach. But you're one of the four Rangers in existence who likes this coach.

4) Baseball has a salary cap. Not sure how many times this has to be repeated. It's just a different system. The Yankees are below the salary cap, thanks for checking in.

6)I love hockey and the NHL is the most accessible hockey product. That doesn't make it a good hockey product. Hockey exists outside the NHL and it's still a sport I very much enjoy.

Doesn't mean he has to be a favourite of mine though. I cheered for him as a Ranger, but I don't want to cheer for him anymore. I'm not saying whether he deserves it or not (although that IS debatable), just that I'm not in his corner now.

he certainly doesn't have to be favorite, nor do you have to be in his corner. To me cheering for a guy to not get a video tribute (something you don't even have to watch/pay attention to) seems pretty petty, but to each their own.

Yeah, that's fair. Probably a bit harsh of me.

I'm more so worried that he is gonna have equal weight to McD and G. Won't bother me too much if he gets a few clips thrown in here and there. Too much.
