No turtling, go for the dagger in the third. If NJD took them to OT last night, we should be able to finish them off tonight.

Indeed. It’s crazy when I see on Twitter that “Mika is a 2C during the season or a 3C on a cup-winning team at best” and laughing at me when I say he’s a 1C
just ignorance on their part. I believe he is a PPG player his last 100 games. And this year would be reaching for high 90s if not for the missed games

we'll regret it for 3 years or we sign him to a 7 year deal and regret it for the last 3 years.

If. he falls off a cliff after 4 or 5 years u buy him out no big deal. He’s going to make 7 mil tops hardly the end of the world when you have to buy a guy out we’ve done it plenty of times. I just seriously doubt this guy is going to erode as an athlete anytime soon. If anything he’s even faster now than he was in his early 20s. He’s going to play and be effective particularly in front of the net for a long time.

Uh I still regret trading Hagelin, Hayes and Zucc
Zucc would kill our cap in a year or two when we really need the space. Hagelin isn’t that good. He just had good chemistry on the HBK line on the Penguins. Hayes I can understand. I like him but we are rebuilding. He would cost too much anyways, when we already have a young, cost-controlled 2/3C in Chytil. He would not be a value contract. We don’t even know if he’s a true 2C, and wasting a big FA contract on a player like that isn’t very wise

Just a matter of time line more than anything and everyone else who has been traded and will be traded. With a few prospects from the 2017 moves already busting and all.

He keeps himself in tremendous shape so I don’t have an issue in that regard. I understand that we need to be careful in terms of cap but at the same time he is the kind of player that’s very tough to replace because even when he isn’t scoring he opens up so much space for others and has also shown to be a very good passer as well as his net presence

have the HNIC broadcast.

They mention that there a ton of interest in kreider but we haven't made him officially available yet. Numerous teams mentioned including colorado.

Nothing we havent speculated but i figured I would pass it along.

Think I figured out what’s wrong with 24’s skating. The stride is excellent. He’s a powerful skater. But he’s ineffective. The speed and acceleration he gets per stride are quite poor. It looks like the blades are sliding off the ice or not making sufficient contact with the ice. He should try propelling himself with the outside of the blade while reaching forward in his stride and then rotating his foot inward while extending. Increases surface area of contact and power per stride.
