I just think you get more benefit of pointing it out, rather than spiting your hand by cutting off the best finger. In general, there is more positive than negative in his play so you need to govern these things in a way that does not hurt your team. A talking to I think is a better option.

Oh, and just to add to this, it's not just for helping two teams the Leafs are fighting with in the standings. It's also for the Leafs spending pretty much the entire season negotiation with Calgary, only to be constantly met with "FIRST ROUNDER OR GO AWAY". After that f***ing bullshit, if they finish by trading Hanifin for not a first rounder (meaning that every player the Leafs were linked to on Calgary ended up being moved for less than what the demand was for Toronto), Conroy just needs a punch in the face on general principle.

Spezza had few things going for him, Spezza game was around stick handling where Tavares game is more on holding on the D

D are really strong now and really good skaters. You can't pivot them out like you used to
Spezza always could stick handle in a booth, then make that pass

God I used to hate and love Spezza when he was with Ottawa

Really don't like that from Nylander. He is going to be makin 11.5M on the cap, and one of the leaders, he can not be doing that. That was bullshit from him, and it's gotta stop.
