And when you put up that quantity, one is bound to go in, clean, deflected, through a screen, etc.

Most of the goals in OT are garbage goals that the goalie wants back.

I don't care where the shots are coming from. People are making it out like being outshot 20-3 is not a big deal.

It is. Statistically, the law of averages says one of those many shots will go in.
 
They were slow and timid in the 3rd period but they limited LA's quality chances.

Game is up for grabs. If you think the Kings aren't nervous about the Rangers speed you're fooling yourself.

Rangers played well enough in the first to win this. Now the kings have settled in with their forecheck and just shutting down the neutral zone.

You're right, but it's not as if they were cycling in the zone and hemming us in. They'd get a shot, we'd go up ice and the play would get broken up, and then they'd come back in, dick around for a little, and take another shot or two.

We got outright beat in that period, but not dominated.

We're pretty much cycling two defensive pairings because Diaz is useless. We could totally use a player with more defensive responsibility. Perhaps McIlrath will be ready by next year. Moore is not all that much better than Diaz and we may be losing Stralman to free agency.

I have a good feeling about OT. LA threw everything they had at the Rangers and couldn't score.
 
so far the story of the game for me is the 3 (or was it four) completely botched 3 on 2s. Those were atrocious.
