Yeah...some of them may just suck at skating...
C'mon...he doesn't suck at skating....he lost his inside edge while cutting in the corner. Poor call by the ref.....geez, why are you looking for a plot where there is none? Or are you just ill informed on the type of player Barzal is?

Oh, and F U for making me defend an isles piece of trash.

Juicy Sauron is questionably below .900 with 18 starts and shaky results and Rinne is getting very old. If the Preds are firing Lavy to salvage the season, George to split games with Rinne for the rest of this year plus next year then take over could work too.

If they're gonna start somebody else besides those two Finns it's gonna be Connor Ingram. They're not gonna part with valuable assets to acquire a goalie before giving Ingram a chance. No way.

Chytil looks amazing btw. Let him marinate on the 3rd line a while

he's becoming the center the rangers hoped he could...big, fast, creative...maybe he never reaches that 1C but I can see a good 2C in him. Looks a bit like Zibanejad-lite

Buch has been lost the last few months.

Other than the end of last year when has he not been lost? He isn't overly fast, doesn't win battles or keep puck control and isn't a finisher. He is a pretty good playmaker but given the first few attributes he isn't getting many chances, especially against a physical team like this.

I'm not freaking out about Kakko, but I wish I saw more evidence that he was responding to what the coaches are asking him to do.

I was pleased how he retreated and played defense after giving the puck away that period. That was good.

I just really want to see the kid be more decisive. He can play Michael Nylander and try to outwait everybody once he has caught up to the speed of the NHL game. For now he needs to play simpler and more cynically.

Watching how well the kids are playing tonight in a big spot on the road in a tough barn to play in combined with the fact we very likely are going to have elite goaltending for the next decade, it really is tantalizing to think about how good this team will be 2-3 years from now...hmmm

I think he's looked pretty good this game. He's getting the puck more, he's carrying it across the blueline, he's trying to make plays and he's getting some shots off. Sure he needs to keep getting better and I can see if he can add some explosiveness to his skating he's going to open up a ton more opportunities, but comparing him now compared to other games a couple weeks ago he looks good

I've said this alot in different threads, I don't think Kakko is in true hockey shape this year. He never had a true training camp as he was playing in tournaments and in the Finnish elite league whatever the name of it.

Guaranteed after he has an offseason training regiment this coming offseason where he works on his skating and his strength, he will be alot better than he has been this year.

That said, he has been quite noticeable tonight and in fact, this might be the best game I've seen him play in weeks.

Could be luck, could be you aren't short on nutrients, could be genetics. Could be a lot of things.

All I know, is for 50+ years I never took as much as a vitamin c tablet. I smoked, drank, did drugs, and was fairly heathy cause I was an athlete. But since then, I got cancer, COPD, and arthritis. And if I didn't discover the benefits of nutrients and what we are lacking, I probably wouldn't be here right now, and managing fairly well with these chronic ailments.
Just want to give an example of the benefits. In my late twenties I pull my back out, and ever since it would go out twice a year. Would lay me up for days. Lost many jobs due to it. Finally went to a neurologist 8 years back and he gave me a drug called Gabapentin. It worked but made me dizzy. So looking for an Alternative I happened upon a post saying magnesium works on the same receptors as gabapentin. I figured let's give it a try. It's a mineral we all need right? Well 8 years later my back has not gone out since. Who knew all those years it was a stupid nutrient deficiency.
