He made plenty just last game. He had some real highlight reel saves. Rangers just didn't give him any support - goal-wise or defensively.

That said, I agree with the general sentiment that he needs to be better (though I'm not as hyperbolic about it). He wanted top goalie $$ in the league. He got it. Now he needs to play like the top goalie in the league. He just isn't doing that on a consistent basis. Plain and simple. He's been fine to good. Not great. That's not acceptable.

He signed a big contract so now hes not allowed to give up 1st period goals and he can't give up breakaway/penalty shot goals unless he stopped one or two earlier in the game and he can't give up a 2nd goal in the game unless hes stopped 30 other shots.
