To this day the Brash signing has to be the worst I've seen during my time as a Rangers fan. My memory could be off, but was it not the very off-season after his BS, dirty, concussion-delivering late elbow to Betts' head in the playoffs? Broke Betts' orbital bone if I recall correctly.

The UFA D who are left don’t amount to much. We definitely don’t need another RD and the idea of Subban’s career being over gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that I kind of like. Basically he’s a danger to other players and I don’t like his cavalier attitude after injuring somebody or other and the other thing is he sucks anyway—so f*** that. The two D left that I might think about DeHaan and Murray aren’t great options either.

That said I don’t know if we’re going to need to bring in another LD if Jones/Robertson struggle. I don’t see Hajek as a good option. For now I wouldn’t think it’s a huge problem.
