Rangers have lost 6 out of their last 7 games. What would you do if you were Dolan (the owner of the team) or Drury (the GM)?

4 isn't more than several? Like I say.. not a fan and really don't care but the ranger haters looking silly.
lmfao are you for real? Nobody's taking the comprehensive history of any franchise into account when roasting them over their current actions.

Rags have played 31 games this season. Wins against playoff teams:

Leafs on Oct 19
Sens on Nov 13
Canucks on Nov 19

Only 3 wins, with 2 of those teams swinging in and out of being bubble teams. It's almost Christmas and the win against the Leafs in October is the only positive they have this season. It's insane that despite all the negativity, people are still underrating how mediocre of a team they are.

Mediocre would be an upgrade.

Storied franchise? They have arguably the most forgettable history of any original team. They have something like 13 retired numbers and a majority of hockey fans don’t even know who most of those players even are outside of Leetch, Richter, and Hank.

11 retired numbers, 8 of which belong to Hall of Famers.

HOFers: Howell, Bathgate, Gilbert, Giacomin, Ratelle, Leetch, Messier, Lundqvist
Non-HOFers: Hadfield, Richter, Graves

The majority of hockey fans who haven't delved deep into the league's history probably hasn't heard of several of those guys... but that's literally true of every team. Many fans probably know names like Richard, Beliveau, Lafleur, Roy, and a few others. Would you say a majority of hockey fans know Butch Bouchard, Guy Lapointe, Dickey Moore, Yvan Cournoyer, or Elmer Lach? I also somehow doubt the majority of fans know guys like Bernie Geoffrion or Serge Savard.

My point isn't to denigrate any of those names. As someone who has read up on a lot of league history, I know who all of them are. Each one rightfully deserved to have their numbers retired by Canadiens, but outside of the Habs fanbase they're not that well known.

Fire Laviolette seems like the best option to me.
Its a GM and owner problem. Drury made it worse with public comments and the team is worse now than it was 2 weeks ago.

This is why we get canned remarks from Coaches and Gm's in media availabilities. Theres nothing to gain from airing dirty laundry.

and the Oilers won it for them:popcorn:
True. Which is why all Rangers fans should be cheering for an Oilers dynasty, then after we’re done we can ship off our talent to NY to break the Cup drought again.

It’s only fair, it would be a nice payback since they gave us their best coach, Kris Knoblauch.
