Rangers have lost 15 out of their last 19 games. What would you do if you were Dolan (the owner of the team) or Drury (the GM)?

Literally anytime dolan gets involved it turns to shyt

his most valuable franchise proved that to everyone

stay out of the way and now look at the knicks
I say as a penalty for Dolan turning it into a circus, the next outdoor game in the tristate area must be hosted by the Rangers.

No, the Islanders are more similar to the Sabres than they are the Rangers when it comes to market, popularity, presence, etc.
Your post read like the Isles don’t play in the state of NY but good try though. There’s more to the state of NY then Manhattan, Staten Island and the Italian parts of Brooklyn.

Of course, but when you think of New York teams, do you think of the Sabres? Some do, many don't. Same reason why the Bills are the forgotten "New York" team and their fans take every chance to remind the world that they're the only football team that actually plays in New York.

Considering where I’m from, the only team who’s a NY team that I don’t consider one is the Nets (they belong back in NJ). I consider the Islanders more of a NY team then the ones in Buffalo based on geography but they’re still from NY.

Might be the dumbest thing I have ever read on these boards, who the h e double hockey sticks would claim the Manhattan pee smell as a NY team.
There's something about the two teams that play in MSG that makes them think that they are "New York's premier team" just based on location. There's a reason as a 9 year old in the Bronx that I picked the Devils in 98-99 when I had the ability to watch all three teams on TV.

To be fair, the only thing many people know about NY is what they see on television, which is almost always just NYC. Because of this, I'm assuming most of the people who don't think of Buffalo as a NY team would also need a couple of guesses to name the state capitol.

It’s kinda hilarious- me: “I’m from upstate New York, more towards Canada and the Great Lakes, 5 hours from the city, only been there twice.”
Them: “oh. So did you take a train to work everyday, or..?”

That’s legit how my last explanation went. Bro I don’t even know anymore. Conceptually the rest of the state is just absent for some people, so it’s wild seeing ‘em add this new info to the pre-conceived ideas you mention.

Anyway, lights be too bright for Mika, unfortunately. I like that dude, he’d do better in Columbus. Same with EP.

Sounds like a couple of conversations I've had. Went to high school in a small town in upstate NY, about 4 hours from the city.

I also remember having a few conversations with people who grew up in NYC acting like we must all be hicks up there in the boondocks, driving our tractors to school.

It's better than the south where it's the opposite. The movies get shot here, but are set somewhere else. The only time anything is set here is to make fun of the hillbillies. People are surprised we have indoor plumbing.

..but how interested are people going to be in a Blackhawks v Rangers game?
The whole reason why I brought up the hosting of a stadium series game was because there’s son stipulation that the Rangers have with MSG that they can’t be the home team anywhere else otherwise they void they’re contract there.
