Feel bad for Rangers fan but their loss is my betting wins.
Rangers have lost 15 out of their last 19 games. What would you do if you were Dolan (the owner of the team) or Drury (the GM)?

Bourque went to a stacked Colorado avalanche team and was given the cup at the end of his career. Heck I could have been on that team and got a ring. Forsberg sakic roy . Legends of hockey.

There was a joke there somewhere. On Drury, I always remember him from his days as a Sabre, then I realize I'm thinking of Peca. And doubling down on the joke, Drury and Bourque were on that cup winning AVs team

Most teams go as their #1 centre goes, and unfortunately Zibanejad is not a #1 centre any more. Add to that the whole Trouba fiasco, and that spells trouble for any team.

Here's how you know Drury is f***ing stupid and in wayyyyyyy over his head:
So we know Drury has some sort of relationship with Uncle Larry Brooks. Drury has fed Uncle Larry information since he weaseled himself into this job by going behind the back of JD and Gorton (and probably before).
Nothing out of the ordinary there. I mean front office personnel feed journalists and beat reporters info all the time. That's how many rumors are made and that's how newspapers and blogs and other media outlets are circulated.
Now, fast forward to this past summer and the Trouba situation. Uncle Larry reported that a trade to Detroit was in the works. Trouba got freaked out and nixed it, which Drury wasn't expecting because Trouba is from Michigan and went to school there and grew up a Red Wings fan, etc. Even if Drury thought that Trouba was going to waive for Detroit, WHY THE f*** WOULD YOU TELL A BEAT REPORTER TO REPORT THAT A TRADE WAS CLOSE? FOR WHAT PURPOSE? WHAT GOOD DOES THAT DO? Do you know how many things can and actually do go wrong when this kind of information gets out? I don't care if Trouba verbally agreed to be traded to Detroit. YOU TELL THE BEAT REPORTER TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT UNTIL IT'S OFFICIAL.

There really is a special place in hockey hell for Chris Drury. From the moment we signed him as a free agent through the way he threw JD/Gorton under the bus to now. He's a piece of shit and an incompetent GM. He ruined this team. He somehow is worse as an exec here than he was as a player.
If he (Dolan) wanted to do best by the fans of the Knicks n Rangers he'd sell both and just walk away.

It’s strange what’s happening to the Rangers. They looked like they’d be one of the super powers of the east for many years and now have fell flat on their face and it looks like they might not recover anytime soon.
Huh. Who would have thought that young players could do better with increased time and more opportunities?
I imagine they miss the playoffs but don’t get a lottery pick making this a disastrous year for NYR
