I think this is the thing. Does he need to prove some sort of harm done to himself or his career? I doubt he really can.If the Rangers used his content without permission or compensation for their own marketing campaign, seems like a straightforward violation of law. But I can’t imagine he has much damages.
Still, it was pretty low-rent of MSG to do that. They could have just (a) key him know they'd like to use his voice, he'd probably have been thrilled and not charged them, or (b) recorded an intern saying something similar and not have bothered.
