Death, taxes and Wolfie facing 29 shots (that's 4 in a row).

Awoooooo

Backs should have tried to bank that in off a D's leg.

I just lost mine because the 2-8 Browns beat the 8-2 Steelers.

Holy hell Zary what a shot. Damn. Unreal.

Man, such a nice goal. Holy.
Divisional game in the muck? Always a +3.5 home dog lock playa. The fans were fantastic.

Oilers had a line of Pod - McDavid - Drai and couldn't do anything after getting a PMD?

Must have been because they didn't have Hyman.

I just saw Huberdeau hit the post on an empty net, and he STILL leads the team in goals

Although Coronato is now tied with him. He's also 2nd on the team in PPG. Glad he's starting to pan out.

Unrelated but it also makes me think of Pelletier, who had a nearly identical PPG to Coronato in their 21 year old AHL seasons. Hopefully Pelletier can do the same in the future.

We need some empty net target practice. Maybe if they hang a Styrofoam crest in the middle of it they'd hit it every time.

Great win though, glad we prevailed. We're the best anti-tankers ever. Wolf played great and we got lots of shots on net. Was fun to watch the replay. Looking forward to the next one!

Coronato, Sharangovich, Zary all throwing up some darts on Shestgerkin

Weegs with a massive 3pt game. Hope that means he can find that next gear he was in for a lot of last season.
Backlund really doesn't get enough appreciation for being this team's fixer. Problem winger? Put em with Backs and bam, problem solved. Sharangovich couldn't piss a drop all season and was awful last game until he gets moved to Backs line. Both his wingers had 2pt games.

I tell ya the Flames play like that more often and they're gonna be a handful for any team in the league. All four lines had good speed through the NZ. Owned the Rags on the boards and puck battles. That's a hockey club that's on the same page and with the WolfMan back there they can play loose.
