Hockey players in general are eloquent — certainly compared to NFL and NBA players. Funny: college degrees are relatively rare in the NHL but almost a given in the NFL / NBA.

Hajek has been a very pleasant surprise! Once again a proof that development (and jumps from juniors to pro and then from AHL to NHL) is not linear. Good for Hajek!

The Devils' PK is so bad that the person tracking the goals on NHL.com has all of the Rangers goals as PP goals when it was only 1.

I don't understand the constant agitation for Gauthier to get PP time. Guy is at best, BEST, a marginal player, and certainly has not shown ~ever that he'd stand in front of the net and take Lemieux's responsibility.

Bruins absolutely manhandled the Caps last night. Turns out when you attack Tom Wilson, they don't know what to do. I thought he was going to have to fight three times last night.
