A loss tonight and a Red Wings win will kill any last bit of hope I have.

But a win tonight and a Detroit loss to Colorado might change the yuck feelings I have for this season.

Going 3-1 in the next 4 is mandatory with the Sharks and Habs, get at least one win tonight or sunday. Or at least force OT in them FFS. Losing in regulation has killed them.

Then they have a nice two day break before playing Anaheim and Kings. (They can’t realistically get swept by both of them, can they? Oh god)

A 5-1 stretch for the first time since December would be huge. I’m losing hope but it’s there if they want it.

If they had just beaten the Caps tonight's game would be so much different. Really disappointing how inconsistent the team has been this season. The talent is evident. We all bicker about what has gone wrong to bring us to this point after last season's breakout, but my money is on that time in training camp when Ruff forced them to watch the Lighthouse. After that it has just been downhill.

I disagree. Last year, we had a fast young team and we tended to absolutely cave opposing teams in the second period. For some reason (personnel changes, injuries, opposing teams adjusting) that has dropped off this season.
