I believe it's true because before the game even started they posted saying to bundle up more than normal and not because of the weather outside so it's not like it was comment posted after the celebration lol
For anyone who went did it feel colder than normal inside? Lol

It felt a little cooler at game start and then I was honestly hot by games end. Maybe they were happy to let the arena warm naturally to get the temps back up?
I don’t think it was noticeably cooler except by the entrance doors, but by those the chill would linger.

How sweet must life be for Kovacevic right now? A team that wants him goes to get him, he gets a big opportunity and a lot of trust from the coaching staff, and he shines. Doesn't he have ties with someone in the front office as well? If I'm not mistaken, Mark Dennehy, our head scout, used to coach him at Merrimack College. He surely had a say in bringing Kovacevic in.
He seems happy here and it looks like he's found a good situation. All those elements should help a lot in keeping him with the team past this season. Players value that stuff. I'm sure a Siegs type deal is in the works.

I used to run into casuals all the time. I’m the least social person (unless I’m engaged first) in public with people I don’t know, but I would usually chat up someone I saw in a Devils hat or apparel. Too many of them would pretty much confirm they didn’t follow the team like I did or like we do on this forum. So I kind of stopped engaging people unless they saw something I was wearing Devils and brought it up first.
Once I was wearing a player tee down here and some guy was also wearing a Henrique player tee. He noticed me first and asked if I was from Jersey. I said yes and asked him about the Devils. He admitted he didn’t follow them, but was a fan because he was from Jersey. That was probably back in 2015.
But to call someone’s Devils fandom out while boasting about the Rangers and knowing nothing about the disaster of a season they’re having? Maybe he was just trolling you and knows full well how bad they’ve been, but he probably didn’t.

nhl.com shows the home feed announcers by default on their highlights, but if you go to the road team's page, then click videos up top, you get their recap with with the same clips but road announcers. This has worked for years.

God, the salt and denial was strong among the Rag fans once the stuff like the draft party video/dumpster fire gif got out. Seems like some of them got their heads back on straight after a night to sleep on things, but the continuous "we don't care at all about the Devils, actually!" and "you're not relevant because you're not in NEW YAWK" stuff...man, a lot of their arguments boil down to "stop having fun!", which is clearly how to go about enjoying sports, right?
Ah well. I do hate when stories come out that some of our worse fans did stupid shit to Rag fans, but that's something that happens to some of our fans when their worst see us in the Garden, I suppose.
