How about not adjusting to the caps speed? How about instead of doing his soft 2-1-2(which isn't working), we clog the neutral zone? Counter attack from the red line out?

How about instead of trying to either loft pucks out of the zone or stretch pass, the Rangers make short passes to the red line?

Nah it makes too much sense. Better to have Hank try to win us the game and the Rangers try to get some sort of deflection off of Holtby by taking shots from the side of the net.

This team isnt Perfect, but the rangers got into the playoffs with torts, torts is honest with his players and he got a plan. Dump and chase, grind and block. U can hate his gameplan, but its his strategy/gameplan(s) that was the difference between playoffs and no playoffs

The Rangers look completely outclassed in this game. Every year they fool me. I always seem to think they're a good team. Only year I didn't think that was 09. Looks like that team came close to beating the Caps than this team will.

What a pathetic excuse for a proud hockey club right now. Nash a non-factor, Richards huffing and puffing, Del-Zotto playing soft as hell, this is so frustrating...1 goal against Holtby in the 6th period of playoff hockey...
