I have no faith for the offense to make a big play. None at all.

Actually, 95% of what he is saying is true. Torts is getting out-coached.

I don't think Torts is a great coach, but to say that in today's game is stupid. Its 0-0, both teams have had chances, it's not torts fault the Rangers cant bury

The way I look at it the Washington delay of game non call was a make up for the same play Moore made 5 minutes earlier.

Ward deflected that one. No where near close to needing a make up call.

He swiped his stick at the puck, definitely wasn't a deflection.

Pretty sure the explanation will be that the Capitals player "deflected" the puck, rather than played the puck, over the boards. Not that it wasn't obvious...

It also looks like Backstrom and Johnasen are afraid to shoot. Maybe the Rangers might get a break off a deflected pass or something.

They show Holtby flubbing the puck early in the game to show him being shaky

and then to show how much better he's been later in the game they show 3 more clips. A wrap around and the 2 off the posts. That some highlight goaltending video there.

But it was! He swung at the puck with his stick! It truly amazes me how stupid some people can be. What was it George Carlin said? Imagine how dumb the average person is, then realize that half of them are dumber than them.

the only reason I can think of why they didn't call that a penalty was because the caps player more so deflected it and did not shoot it out. He did only have one hand on the stick, but that's just the only reason I can come up with.

o well, forget about it, Rangers get ready....score first and early!!! let's end this now Rangers and take the series back to new York tied at 1!
