That just would have been a stupid idea. You don't just bench your #1 goalie because of hindsight based off the regular season. Lundqvist earned this start and every start in the playoffs.

Take Lundqvist out. Three soft goals. Didn't bother showing up.

First goal was a good goal.

Second goal was weak as ****.

That third goal is an average goal. Happens in every game.

He's having a mediocre game. Every great goaltender has sub par games in Stanley Cup runs. Roy, Brodeur are two of the best ever and have had mediocre games. Even our savior Richter had some pretty mediocre/bad games in our Stanley Cup run.

Are our fans too young to remember this stuff? Or are they just have unbelievable expectations that Lundqvist just cannot have a bad game? He's not a robot guys.
