Montreal is a 5-6 hour drive I don't know why there are never many Ranger fans there. I guess it's one of the few fan-bases that always sells out.

tickets are also pretty expensive, just looking into it last week for *****, good tickets to the game in ottowa were about 25-50 bucks, Montreal prices were similar to msg.
