Rangers really didn't give up much in terms of quality, but Blues are going to be tough to handle for them down low even if they keep the puck out of the middle they are going to be defending too much unless they are really efficient coming out of their zone. Which they weren't in the 1st.

Since Chytil always is more of a threat to get a goal than an assist, shouldn't they just put him at wing and forget about him as a center?

Your not gonna beat this team with goaltending like that. Hank staring at the ceiling after that one too. He knows he shoulda had it. Went off the inside of his arm. Ugly. Guy is open sure it happens it’s the nhl but need a save there. Stl basically had two chances the whole period. Both went in
I kind of feel bad for him. I think this is the first time that he’s really thinking this may be the end of the road (as a starter) with Shestyorkin/Shesterkin here and playing very well in net. I don’t think he got that feeling with Georgiev.

How did Giannone get out of traveling to St. Louis?

So they travel to the Midwest to play one game before going home. Efficient use of resources there.

just isn’t built for the league anymore. His technique is so out dated. I mean that breakaway let’s be honest it’s an easy save for anyone not going into a turned kick save selection.

he looks uncomfortable in his recoveries. He’s constantly on his back. He just looks very frustrated. He’s a brilliant goalie don’t think for a second he doesn’t know it. Both goals should have been fairly routine saves. Even if they’re in “high danger locations”

There went that one chance to clear on Lindgren's stick

Forwards yield the neutral zone, defensemen without support have to back off to prevent high quality chances 10 times a game, we get pummeled with chances, shots, zone time, and penalties. This is a structural issue that is one hundred 100% percent on David Quinn and Lindy Ruff. Utterly embarrassing.
