GDT: Rangers @ Blue Jackets: The Winnie Cooper Edition

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. You should have some fellow Ranger fans there. I don't know if you've been at NationwideArena for a Ranger game yet, but there's usually a good amount that show up. There was a contingent last November that was able to muster a "Let's Go Rangers" chant.
 
What would be worse, the Bob and the Jacks shutting us out or losing in a shootout , Nash missing the last attempt or both?

Those are my only options :p:
 
"Just making the PO's" got a lot more meaningful in the last week and a half.

I have no problem if the team loses all of the rest of its games. I have no problem if they miss the PO's next year too. I don't even care if they tank next year and weren't smart enough to lottery protect. This board needs to see terrible, losing hockey again. Plus it'll make it all the more sweet when the roller coaster trends back up again.

That said I'd prefer they improve from where they are right now which seems like an early exit low seed.

There's a difference b/t "Having no problem" vs "actively hoping" just to pre-empt anyone who might accidentally read that as me hoping they blow

I have been to most every Ranger game played here, since I moved here in 2000. And I was there in November and yes, I was one of those fans who participated... :nod:
 
Zucc, Brass and Marty have decided to crush those jackets :)

It's now or never, this is a huge game.

11-0 Rangers. Nash scores 7. MSL with 1. Zucc with 2. Boyle with 1. Talbot with 155 saves.

It would do nobody any good for this team to be really terrible in a year we don't have a 1st round pick. There are no lessons to be learned, that would just be frustrating to deal with.
 
I really cant blame Nash for wanting to protect his career in terms of not hitting. Even though it doesnt do any good for the team that he doesnt

Callahan has had injury problems,and still blocked shots. its just a product that Nash is lazy and is not a team player.

It's not really fair to compare Nash to Callahan though. Nash has been a premier goal scorer in the league while Callahan had to break into the league as a grinder and plays that in your face heckling style of game. Entirely different players.

I agree. I was asking the other poster if a guy thought to generally have a lot of heart, but also with very few hits, deserves the same label that they gave to Nash. I'd suspect that he doesn't because...well, because he's not a Ranger.
