Game #60 where we control the play and have nothing to show for it. Par for the course would be a late goal after a Ranger hits the post in the final minutes.
 
Shouldn't Bobrovsky be off trying to annex someone else's country right now?
 
What is with John Giannone and the words "ratcheted up"? Now it's next level ratcheted up.

I don't want him to be protected. If he's too much of a ***** to take the contact, then play a different sport. I don't want to see goalies targeted by players, but if the contact is incidental, then nothing should be made of it. Grow some balls and take a ****ing incidental hit or leave the sport.
 
Well, this is a perfect game to start a rivalry with our new division foes.
 
These calls happen way to often...If i was the coach id a held up this game by throwing all tons of **** on the ice and getting thrown out...ill take the fine...post press conference...say...NHL fix these ****en refs...and by the way ill take the fine...

Goalies are never at fault in this league. If Bobrovsky is going to take Nash's stick, then Nash should have the right to pummel his face into the ice and give them both penalty's. This goalie overprotectiveness is ruining the NHL.
 
Teams think the refs might call **** against them if they make a stance against bad reffing...but it would be quite the opposite..If you throw a tantrum and hold up games everytime the refs make a horrible call...they'll focus more on not making a bad call... Coaches need to hold up games and throw all kinds of **** on the ice and go ballistic. You do it enough as a coach, refs will be on their toes. Embarrass the refs enough out in public, watch the bad calls drop dramatically.
 
and after all that and we had to go on the PK?!?! ponderous...effing ponderous. They couldn't have at the very least evened out the call? Girardi got jumped for no reason...the refs couldn't equal out the calls on that alone? Nash took a wicked slash....how about that? They couldn't even up the call on that? Did this really happen? Never seen anything like this....in any other sport.
 
So we already have a rough game, a game both teams really need to win, everyone in Columbus hates Nash's guts.

Yes I can completely see third period going at least 1 minute between each powerplay and/or fight.
