Garbage, garbage, garbage... and Grigorenko. Don't see why Colorado would consider this.

Grigorenko stays, and the Avs have no need for McIlrath

Please, stop making proposals. Grigorenko is going nowhere. I heard from Avs fans he's having a great pre-season. Rangers wouldn't trade McIlrath AND Fast for Siemens. McIlrath is showing signs of being a great shutdown defenceman and Fast is your typical 3rd line winger that can go up in the lineup with injury.

lol its not that bad of an offer, i understand why Avs fans says no but cmon. Grigorenko isnt really anything special. Tops out as a decent top 6 at best.

McIlrath is worth more to the Rangers than any other team at this point. The hope with most Rangers fans is that he takes the next step this season and becomes a solid top 4 d-man.

Even if that is his best scenario(It's not, dont act like you've actually watched the kid the past year), that's a hell of a lot better then anything else involved in the trade.

McIlrath and Siemens are both busts, career AHL Dmen or MAYBE #6/7 options one day.

Fast is a solid 4th liner who can play on the 3rd line if a team is hurt with injuries or lacks depth. But he's nowhere close to being a Top 6 or even a quality Top 9 guy.

Grigorenko is a better player today, he took some big steps forward last year, and has continued with those steps forward so far this year. He doesn't have much value league wide right now, but he has a lot of value to the Avs and we dont have any reason to move him at all right now.

Instead we can just watch and see what he can turn himself into. A regular 55-60 point player is something he is capable of becoming.

Siemens hasn't really ever gotten a shot at the NHL even though he deserves a shot. I think we see him with the Avs a lot sooner rather than later. He absolutely could still carve out a career still as he's only 23 (turned so last month).

Absolutely no to trading Grigs. Avs need more top 6 talent, not less. Even if he's only top 9, he's a needed piece. He's only 22 and Bednar looks to be helping unleash his potential.
